BALTIMORE — Maryland’s sports wagering market generated $7,623,083 in state contributions during June 2026, capping a fiscal year that returned $132,318,369 overall.
The $132.3 million in FY 2026 (July 2025 through June 2026) represents a 48.8% increase from $88.9 million in FY 2025. Of the annual total, more than $99.7 million supported public education programs through the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund, while $32.6 million went to the state’s General Fund.
Bettors wagered $523,337,113 in June and won back $468,764,829 in prizes. Sportsbook operators held 10.4% of the handle.
June contributions included $5.7 million to the Blueprint Fund and nearly $1.9 million to the General Fund. Since December 2021, the Blueprint Fund has received $277,088,204 from sports wagering.
Retail operators contribute 15% of taxable proceeds to the Blueprint Fund. Mobile operators contribute 15% to the Blueprint Fund and 5% to the General Fund.
