Defending Crate Late Model Champion Chuck Bowie of Welcome, Maryland came 1 step closer to a second consecutive title, taking his second win of the season Saturday at Potomac Speedway. Starting 4th, Bowie snared the early lead from Davis Lipscombe, proceeding to lead the rest of the way for his latest win of the season. Rookie Ryan Mann continued his impressive first season, racing home second, with Brady Neff, Lipscombe, and John Davis rounding out the top 5. Heats went to Neff and Lipscombe.
In the 15 Lap Street Stock feature, points leader Wyatt Hanson took advantage of late race troubles for leader Kyle Randall, in the process taking home his division leading 4th win of the season. Johnny Oliver made a late race bid, but wound up second, followed by Bobby Meixsell, Deuce Wright, and Tyler Alton.
Brian Hubbard checked in for his third win of the season in Hobby Stock action. Starting second, Hubbard grabbed the early lead from polesitter Connor Cheseldine, rolling on to an impressive victory. Jayden Hatcher chased Hubbard to the stripe, followed by Justin Hatcher, Mikey Latham, and Cheseldine.
In the 15 lapper for Strictly Stocks, Shawn Howsare finally notched his career first of the season, taking the win over defending champ Greg Mattingly, with Kelly Crouse, Daniel Kanodle, and Will Mayhew completing the top five.
In the 15 lapper for the U Cars, Keith Brown notched his division leading third win of the season. Starting first, Brown led wire to wire in securing his latest win of the season. Brody Guy challenged late in the event, but came home second, followed by Adam Suda, Nikolas Weber, and Brooke Bowles.
