St. Mary’s College of Maryland’s River Concert Series will return next summer with four Friday shows and a new format, the college announced.
The 2027 concerts are set for June 18, June 25, July 9 and July 16 along the St. Mary’s River. The college says the series is being “reimagined” with a wider range of music and activities for all ages, including family-friendly gatherings with local food vendors and artisans, according to St. Mary’s College.
Performers have not been announced. The college said lineups and other details will be shared as plans are finalized.
“The River Concert Series has long been a meaningful part of our connection to the community,” said college President Rhonda Phillips, Ph.D. The college said the changes are meant to add new musical experiences and more ways for families, friends and neighbors to gather while keeping the series’ community focus.
The series has run for nearly three decades. The college did not say whether ticket or parking arrangements will change.
