Leonardtown, MD – National Nurses Week is a celebration which honors the Nursing profession and continues to promote wellness and caring for the citizens of the St. Mary’s County community. The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County paused to recognize and thank nursing professionals for their dedicated and tireless service.

“The St. Mary’s Nursing Center, a not-for-profit organization serving the elderly in St. Mary’s County, recognized the theme, “Nurses: Inspire, Innovate, Influence” during National Nurses Week,” said Commissioner Todd Morgan (4th District).

In recognizing National Nurses Week, the commissioners acknowledge how fortunate the Mother County of Maryland is to have the competent services of the Nursing professionals who have so rightfully earned everyone’s respect and admiration for their untiring and unselfish dedication to the health and well-being of St. Mary’s County citizens.
