Hollywood, MD- The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a garage fire that occurred on July 26, 2019, around 9:00 p.m.
St. Mary’s County 9-1-1 was alerted to the fire by a neighbor calling in. The Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department responded with forty-eight personnel and had the blaze under control in about 10 minutes.
The Fire Marshal lists the cause and area of origin as”under investigation”. The estimated loss is $20,000.00 in structure, $10,000.00 in contents, and $8,000.00 for a vehicle.
