Waldorf, MD- The Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department responded to an address on Acton Lane in Waldorf, MD early Friday morning for a reported trailer on fire at Zapata Enterprises.

Upon arrivel, the firefighters discovered at least two trailers engulfed in flames and power lines laying on one of the trailers.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal was called out to investigate and determined that a power line falling from the evening’s storms landed on one trailer and caused the fire. The estimated damage was $300,000.00

During the incident, one firefighter was injured and taken to Southern Maryland Hospital for treatment.
