PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – Oct. 18, 2019 – Fall is here and Calvert County’s farmer’s markets are full of delicious seasonal produce, meats and other local products. Although the season is winding down, two of the county’s favorite markets are still open for business. Visit one of the following locations for pumpkins, mums, apples and more:

  • Tuesdays in Prince Frederick at the CalvertHealth Medical Center parking lot
    (130 Hospital Road) 2:30-6:30 p.m., through Nov.19
  • Saturdays in Lusby at the Sneade’s Ace Home Center parking lot
    (11861 HG Trueman Road) 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., through Oct. 26

Calvert County farmer’s market locations accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. To learn more about SNAP and eligibility requirements, visit online.
