News Release, CalvertHealth

Community Hotline:

As a result of COVID-19, CalvertHealth Medical Center has received an overwhelming number of calls from residents seeking information on Coronavirus and a variety of other questions. In an effort to meet this need, we have established a community hotline to answer questions and provide information. The line will be answered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The number is 410.535.8469.

It is important to note that the hotline is not a substitute for advice from your healthcare provider.

COVID-19 Screening and Drive-Thru Testing:

CalvertHealth offers drive-thru COVID-19 testing for Calvert County residents and First Responders (also Calvert County residents) over the age of 18. In order to receive an appointment for testing, individuals must be screened. Our screening line is open every Tuesday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. On the call, individuals will speak with a provider to determine whether or not they meet the criteria for testing. If they do, they will be assigned a testing date and time. The number for the screening line is 410.535.8436.

If a testing appointment is issued, patients should:

·Bring a valid driver’s license and/or first responder identification

·       Come alone, unless unable to drive on their own
