For my eighth week of Restaurant Revisits, I am checking in with two of my Charles County favorites. I am happy to see Galazio Restaurant has started providing outside service. Restaurant owner Joe Gressis and his crew have created a nice, relaxing experience in the parking lot. Edged by wood rails and plants, the area has tables with umbrellas placed keeping social distancing in mind. I went on Sunday and enjoyed delicious pit beef, Greek fries, and green beans. With a menu of Galazio favorites, there is always something for everyone!
They are also offer something unique, music nights. You can sit in the parking lot and enjoy great food and local musicians. Check out the Facebook page for details.
Galazio Restaurant hours are daily from 11:00am to 8:00pm.

The best ice cream around…Landon’s Ices & Creams!! Located on Charles Street in LaPlata, the Hinson family has perfected the recipes to make the most amazing ice cream! If you do not want ice cream, they have milkshakes, smoothies and sugar-free keto-friendly water ices. In addition, they offer a rewards program and local delivery.
I love their ice cream! One of my favorite ice creams flavors (I have several favs) is Old Bay Caramel. It is vanilla ice cream with just a hint of Old Bay and caramel. The Old Bay is not overpowering. It is delicious!
Landon’s Ices & Creams hours are Tuesday through Sunday 11:00am-8:00pm. They are closed on Mondays.
