Historic Sotterley will be hosting a brand-new series of community marketplace events celebrating and supporting our local businesses during these challenging times! Friendly Friday Markets not only will showcase a variety of local vendors each week, but will also have special demos or activities tailored to the theme of the week. These three Friday markets lead up to our biggest event “The Riverside Community Marketplace” taking place on October 3rd and 4th. This event includes even more local vendors, artisans, demos, wineries, breweries, distilleries, special events including tractor pulls, food vendors, and more.

It is easy to social distance at Historic Sotterley, and vendors and activities will take place at many different locations all around the site. So, put on your walking shoes and be ready to explore the site as you visit the various vendors and activities. You may even discover areas of our historic site that you never knew existed!

Friendly Friday Markets:

  • Rediscovering Your Roots! – August 28th, 4 pm – 8 pm
  • First Responders, First in our Hearts!  September 11th, 4 pm  8 pm
  • Helping Hands, Helping Others! – September 25th, 4 pm – 8 pm

Riverside Community Marketplace: Saturday, October 3, 2020, and Sunday, October 4, 2020, from 10 am to 4 pm each day
