The Navy has launched an online survey to collect input from our community, both internal and external, for consideration in preparing an update to the Environmental Restoration Program’s Community Involvement Plan (or CIP). The Environmental Restoration Program involves investigating and, if needed, cleaning up sites where past Navy activities may have resulted in actual or suspected impacts to the environment.

The CIP is part of the Navy’s ongoing environmental cleanup and communication efforts at Naval Support Facility Indian Head.

The information received through the survey will be used to update the plan to engage, inform, and involve the community throughout the cleanup process. Input from the community is an important piece of the plan update and the environmental cleanup effort.

The survey is hosted on Google Forms typically takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and will be open until January 31, 2022. Take the survey today at https://tinyurl.com/indianheadsurvey.

If you are unable to take the survey by internet, please call the NSA South Potomac Public Affairs Office at 540-653-8153 to make arrangements to take the survey by phone.
