PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — The Calvert County Family Network (CCFN) has announced the launch of a newly redesigned website, OurCalvert.org, offering Calvert County residents a streamlined, mobile-friendly resource for local services and support. Developed through a collaborative effort with the Calvert County Department of Communications & Media Relations and supported by grants from CCFN and the Governor’s Office for Children, the redesigned site provides comprehensive information on a range of community resources, including adult care, housing, legal assistance, transportation, and more.

OurCalvert.org serves as a centralized platform for residents to access community services, catering to specific groups such as families, children, veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. With an intuitive layout and targeted search options, the website enhances user experience by allowing residents to quickly find relevant resources across various categories.

“Our goal was to make community resources easily accessible and to provide a seamless user experience,” said a CCFN spokesperson. “OurCalvert.org is now a one-stop resource for residents seeking information, whether it’s for financial assistance, healthcare, or housing support.”

The updated site reflects the county’s commitment to increasing accessibility for residents needing timely assistance. The mobile-responsive design ensures users can navigate the site on any device, making critical resources available at their fingertips.

In addition to housing, health, and financial support, the site also includes information on educational resources, career assistance, and crisis intervention services. This redesign is intended to offer Calvert County residents a more efficient way to connect with local services and gain essential information to meet their individual or family needs.

The Calvert County Family Network, which serves as the Local Management Board (LMB) for Calvert County, operates as part of a state-wide initiative where LMBs partner with local agencies, organizations, and business leaders to foster community environments where families and children can thrive. “The LMBs play a vital role in connecting resources at the local level, ensuring every county in Maryland has the support it needs to serve families effectively,” said a CCFN representative.

The new website can be accessed at OurCalvert.org, and further updates on county programs and community resources are available on the Calvert County Community Resources Facebook page at facebook.com/CalvertCommunityResources.
