PRINCE FREDERICK, MD — The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has named Kathy MacAdams, a business retention specialist in the Department of Economic Development, as the November 2024 Employee of the Month.

MacAdams was recognized for her exceptional leadership in advancing the Resident Business Percentage Preference Program (RBP3). This initiative, aimed at encouraging local spending, has positively impacted the county’s economy by creating incentives to support resident-owned businesses.

“Kathy’s dedication and collaborative approach have made a tangible difference in strengthening our local economy,” the BOCC said in a statement.

The county commended MacAdams for her commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and for her ongoing contributions to the community.
