BALTIMORE — Baltimore will mark the nation’s 250th anniversary with SAIL250® Maryland & Air Show Baltimore, a free, family-friendly weeklong event from June 24 to July 1, 2026. The celebration, spanning the Inner Harbor, North Locust Point, Fells Point, and Martin State Airport, will feature international tall ships, naval vessels, air shows led by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, festivals, and educational programs. The event is part of SAIL250®, a five-city semi-quincentennial commemoration of the United States’ founding, with a flotilla traveling from New Orleans to Boston.

Confirmed tall ships include the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter EAGLE, Peru’s BAP UNION, and Germany’s Gorch Fock. U.S., British, and Canadian naval vessels, alongside Coast Guard and historic ships, will offer free public tours. The Blue Angels will headline the air show over the Inner Harbor, joined by national and international flight teams, with additional flyovers and aviation demonstrations.

Festivals at the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Baltimore Peninsula, and Martin State Airport will showcase local food, beverages, live music, and maritime vendors. Educational “STEM to Stern” activities will engage young visitors in technology and maritime careers, while Historic Ships in Baltimore, including the USS Constellation and USS Torsk, will host living history exhibits highlighting 250 years of naval heritage.

The event, produced by Living Classrooms’ Historic Ships in Baltimore, partners with the U.S. Navy, Maryland Department of Commerce Office of Tourism, City of Baltimore, Baltimore County, Sail Baltimore, Air Support, Martin State Airport, and others. A dedicated website, www.SAIL250md.org, and social media (@mdfleetweek on Facebook and Instagram) provide updates. A Fleet Week app will return for iPhone and Android, offering event details and schedules.

SAIL250® Maryland & Air Show Baltimore honors service members’ contributions to defending freedom over the past 250 years, fostering global fellowship through maritime and aviation displays. For more information, visit www.SAIL250md.org.
