WALDORF — Charles County Public Schools will celebrate the Class of 2026 with graduations at Regency Furniture Stadium from Tuesday, June 2, through Thursday, June 4. All ceremonies will be streamed live at www.ccboe.com, and inclement weather plans are posted on the Graduation 2026 page of the district website.

The 2,260 graduates from Charles County’s seven high schools earned more than $205 million in scholarship offers, a milestone that reflects the academic strength of Southern Maryland students and the support of families, educators and the community. Scholarship totals are expected to grow as additional offers arrive.

Graduation schedule:

Tuesday, June 2 • Maurice J. McDonough High School – 9 a.m. • Thomas Stone High School – 1 p.m. • North Point High School – 5 p.m.

Wednesday, June 3 • Henry E. Lackey High School – 9 a.m. • Westlake High School – 1 p.m.

Thursday, June 4 • La Plata High School – 9 a.m. • St. Charles High School – 1 p.m.

Valedictorians and salutatorians, selected by cumulative GPA, represent the top academic achievers at each school:

Henry E. Lackey High School — Valedictorian Brylee Boyden (University of Maryland, College Park, aerospace engineering); salutatorian Savannah Murphy (University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graphic design).

La Plata High School — Valedictorian Ella Luton (Salisbury University, biology); salutatorians Joyce Kang (Johns Hopkins University, molecular and cellular biology) and Gaven Wu (University of Maryland, College Park, chemical engineering).

Maurice J. McDonough High School — Valedictorian Cynclair Wilson (University of Maryland, College Park, engineering with environmental science and policy concentration; plans to attend law school); salutatorian Joseph Ojukwu (University of Maryland, College Park, electrical engineering).

North Point High School — Valedictorian Arjun Garg (University of Maryland, College Park, mechanical engineering); salutatorian Noah Williams (Princeton University, political science and economics).

St. Charles High School — Valedictorian Carly Newman (Boston University, chemistry with medical anthropology minor, pre-med track); salutatorian Ryan Gloria (University of Maryland, College Park, School of Nursing via guaranteed admission).

Thomas Stone High School — Valedictorian Amahyree Wells (University of Maryland, College Park, mechanical engineering and architecture, Banneker/Key Scholar); salutatorian Samantha Grace (University of Maryland, Baltimore County, social work).

Westlake High School — Valedictorian Christopher Chubbs Jr. (University of Maryland, College Park, computer science with cybersecurity concentration, Banneker/Key Scholar); salutatorian Bianca Lepe (University of California, Davis, biochemistry and molecular biology).

By the numbers for the Class of 2026: • Maurice J. McDonough High School: 304 graduates, $22,979,851 in scholarships. • Thomas Stone High School: 293 graduates, $23,389,568 in scholarships. • North Point High School: 458 graduates, $61,473,975 in scholarships. • La Plata High School: 274 graduates, $24,852,744 in scholarships. • St. Charles High School: 396 graduates, $31,108,517 in scholarships. • Henry E. Lackey High School: 232 graduates, $19,319,357 in scholarships. • Westlake High School: 303 graduates, $22,000,024 in scholarships.
