The St. Mary’s College of Maryland women’s soccer team shut out Wilson College 6-0 Wednesday afternoon at Jamie L. Roberts Stadium, getting three goals in each half and not allowing the Phoenix a single shot, according to the college’s game recap.
The Seahawks (4-6-3, 3-1-0 United East Conference) outshot Wilson (2-10-1, 1-3-0 UEC) 48-0, with 20 shots on goal, and held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks. Wilson goalkeeper Bella Scarlato made 13 saves.
Charlotte Bryan opened the scoring in the ninth minute, finishing a pass from Jill Kemp, and Addison Campbell made it 2-0 on another Kemp assist. Oliviah Walton scored in the 38th minute for a 3-0 halftime lead. Allie Petryszak scored 53 seconds into the second half, again off a Kemp pass, and Alexandra Sarrach pushed the margin to five. Mollie Chiarizia capped the scoring in the 90th minute off an assist from Walton.

Kemp finished with three assists, while Bryan, Campbell, Petryszak, Sarrach, Walton and Chiarizia each scored once. Walton added an assist. Breanna Brown and Alexa Holmes split the goalkeeping duties for the shutout.
It was the Seahawks’ third conference shutout of the season, following a 4-0 win over Penn State Abington in the UEC opener and an 11-0 rout of Keystone on Oct. 3. St. Mary’s next plays Saturday, Oct. 10, at Penn College, with a 2 p.m. start.
