Resist/Interfere with Arrest- On February 4, 2020, DFC. M. Beyer conducted a traffic stop in the 21800 block of Pegg Road in Lexington Park. The operator of the vehicle was identified to be Carley Shayne Norris, age 22 of Lexington Park. During the traffic stop, the passenger fled and a foot chase ensued. While deputies were pursuing the passenger, Norris followed in her vehicle and attempted to pick up the passenger. The passenger was apprehended and Norris began yelling and approaching deputies. Norris was taken into custody and charged with Resist/Interfere with Arrest. CASE# 7212-20

Drug Arrest/Rouge and Vagabond– On February 4, 2020, DFC. Roszell responded to the 40500 block of Waterview Drive in Mechanicsville, for the reported suspicious incident. The investigation determined the witness observed a female on his front porch and observed her flee and attempt to enter a vehicle at a nearby residence. DFC. Roszell located Shannon Elisabeth Lane, age 39 of no fixed address inside the vehicle the witness observed. The victim was contacted and it was determined Lane did not have permission to be in the vehicle. Lane was arrested and charged with Rogue And Vagabond. Once at the detention center three packets of suspected Suboxone and suspected methamphetamine were located Lane’s person. Lane was also charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and Possess Contraband at Place of Confinement. Lane also had two outstanding warrants for her arrest which were served. CASE# 7115-20

Burglary/Theft- On February 5, 2020, DFC. D. Smith responded to the 17200 block of Three Notch Road in Dameron, for the reported burglary. The investigation determined Justin Allen Hoyer, age 30 of Lexington Park, forced his way into the residence, damaging the victim’s door. Hoyer removed property from the residence which belonged to the victim. Hoyer was located at the scene and arrested. Hoyer was charged with Burglary First, Third, and Fourth Degree, Theft, and Malicious Destruction of Property. CASE# 7478-20
