There’s no question, the holiday season is going to beverydifferent this year. And while that first bite of pumpkin pie and gifting wish lists are still months away, today we’re giving you a first look at how we’re adjusting our plans to make the holiday shopping experience simple, safe and stress-free.

Since March, we’ve introduceddozens of safety measuresso guests can shop confidently in our stores. And we’re working on even more ways to ensure that your store experience is as convenient—and contactless—as possible, making Target America’s safest place to shop this holiday season.

Here’s a sneak peek at just a few of our holiday plans:

  • Startingin October—andstretching out the savings.Let’s face it: Historically, deal hunting and holiday shopping can mean crowded events, and this isn’t a year for crowds. That’s why our biggest holiday deals will be available earlier than ever, so you can shop safely and conveniently without worrying about missing out on deals that usually come later in the season. Starting in October and continuing throughout the season, you’ll find Target’s lowest prices of the year on items in storesandonline, giving you the flexibility to get the gifts you want—when and how you want—at the Target value you love.
  • Closing our stores on Thanksgiving Day.When we say you can take advantage of great deals all season long, we really mean it. So kick back, relax and enjoy a long nap after you finish that last piece of Thanksgiving turkey. This season, you can count on getting extra-big savings without the extra-long lines, with plenty of opportunities to score the best deals on the hottest items both beforeandafter November 26.   • Making 20,000 more products—including fresh and frozen groceries—available via our pickup and delivery services.More and more guests are turning to our convenient, contactless same-day services likeDrive Up,Order PickupandSame-day Delivery with Shipt, which grew 278% in the first quarter. This holiday season, we’re doubling down, making 20,000 more gifts, essentials and everythingin between available via ourpopular same-day services. Yep, that means offeringfresh and frozen grocery itemsvia Order Pickup and Drive Up at 1,500 Target stores across the country by this fall.
