NASCAR’s 67th running of the Daytona 500 will reach a global audience, with the race set to air in more than 190 countries and territories in 26 languages on Sunday, February 16. With a record $30 million purse, the season-opening event is expected to reach over 650 million households worldwide, further expanding NASCAR’s international presence.
The global broadcast is highlighted by renewed media rights partnerships, ensuring extensive coverage across major markets. NASCAR has extended its long-standing relationship with Canada’s Bell Media, marking the first time races from all three national series will be available exclusively on Bell Media platforms. The Daytona 500 will air on CTV and TSN, while races from the NASCAR Canada Series will be broadcast on Rev TV and TVA Sports.

In Europe, NASCAR has reaffirmed its partnerships with Ziggo in the Netherlands, Premier Sports in the United Kingdom, and Viasat in the Nordic countries. In New Zealand, Three Network returns to cover the first full-time Cup Series season for Shane van Gisbergen. Japan’s GAORA Sports will broadcast the race, with new partner Abema set to begin coverage later in the season.
NASCAR continues its presence in Latin America through an ongoing partnership with FOX Sports Mexico, a key market as the organization prepares for its first-ever points-paying Cup Series race in Mexico City. In Germany, NASCAR has secured a new deal with SportDigital, further extending its European footprint.
The organization works with IMG to manage international media rights outside the United States and has recently expanded IMG’s role to include Latin America. This strategic move is part of NASCAR’s broader efforts to grow its international audience and secure new fans worldwide.
“As NASCAR kicks off another thrilling season with the Daytona 500, we’re excited to once again broadcast the sport globally,” said Nick Skipper, NASCAR’s managing director of media strategy. “The international audience is a key area of growth for our business, and we feel the combination of existing and new partnerships we have in place best position us to serve existing and potential new fans everywhere.”
In the United States, the Daytona 500 will be broadcast live on FOX, with radio coverage available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
