OCEAN CITY, Md., June 17, 2025 — OC Rock & Ride, set for September 10–14, 2025, will replace OC BikeFest, ushering in a new era for Ocean City’s iconic motorcycle rally. Led by local organizers Matthew and Tyler Odachowski, the event aims to preserve the rally’s spirit while introducing fresh attractions for bikers and music enthusiasts.

The rebranded rally, hosted at the Ocean City Inlet and Roland E. Powell Convention Center, will maintain traditions like group rides along Route 50 and Coastal Highway, live concerts, and vendor villages. New features include expanded vendor zones, custom bike shows, scenic group rides, and a revamped music lineup reflecting modern biker culture. The event, previously known as OC BikeFest, ended its original run due to issues with its former promoter, OC Jams LLC, which defaulted on its contract with the tow. Kickin’ Events LLC now manages the rally, with Ocean City waiving $90,000 in venue fees to support the event’s revival.

Matthew Odachowski, a longtime rally sponsor, and his son Tyler, both Ocean City natives, lead OC Rock & Ride. “We are carrying forward a tradition that means something to riders, to Ocean City, and to the entire East Coast,” said Matthew Odachowski. “We’re honored to bring a fresh vision and positive energy to something that has always felt like home.” Tyler Odachowski added, “This isn’t just about an event. It’s about protecting a tradition that fuels our local economy, brings people together, and makes Ocean City come alive every fall. As we launch this new rally, OC Rock and Ride, we ask for your support, your patience, and your passion. Whether you’re a rider, vendor, performer, enthusiast, or concertgoer, this rally belongs to all of us.”

The rally will feature a boardwalk ride-along, potentially expanded to two days, a popular tradition for attendees. The event is expected to draw thousands, boosting local businesses like hotels, restaurants, and shops. “They have to eat. They have to have someplace to stay,” said Amy Thompson, Ocean City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, highlighting the economic impact. A special event zone, with reduced speed limits and heightened police presence, will be in place following a 2024 incident where a teenager was injured by a motorcyclist.

OC Rock & Ride aims to blend nostalgia with innovation, offering poker runs, factory demos, and charity rides alongside new entertainment. Tickets, including three-day passes and VIP options, will be available at www.ocrockandride.com. The Odachowskis encourage community support to sustain the rally’s legacy, which has drawn motorcyclists to Ocean City since 2010.
