Hope M. Dyson is a proud native and country “gal” of good ol' St. Mary's County, Maryland.
She considers it both a blessing and an honor to be a Southern Maryland Chronicle staff writer. For years, Journalism and Media Communications have been her passion.
Hope has worked in the Public Relations field specifically supporting the Gospel Industry. Her journalistic expertise was used to support the high-profile publicity campaign of the late legendary godfather of gospel, Pastor Andraé Crouch, a seven-time Grammy award winner. Additionally, Hope’s writing gift has made room for her to independently interview and author articles on notable names within the Gospel Industry. Such individuals were Tracy Morgan, the multi-Stellar, gospel award winner of the nationally syndicated The Tracy Morgan Radio Show; Kitra Williams, the leading lady of several renowned, theatrical stage plays such as Bishop T. D. Jakes "Woman Thou Art Loosed", Tyler Perry's "Diary of A Mad Black Woman", Oprah Winfrey's "The Color Purple", and David E. Talbert’s hit production “The Fabric of a Man”; Kylie Bisutti, former model winner of the nationally-televised, Victoria's Secret Model Search competition, and David "Davinch" Chance, one of the soulful R&B voices of the internationally-acclaimed American R&B duo, Ruff Endz, who's music garnered spots on both the U.S. Billboard and R&B charts. Additionally, Hope’s public relations experience has also afforded her the blessed opportunity to provide assistance to the non-profit sector in promoting church events through the means of both television and print.
Hope has majored in Media Communications at Full Sail University (Orlando, FL) and am currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in the Communications arena.
